Dr. Y. Alexandrides

As a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, I deal with the most challenging problems of ageing and injury. I developed 111SKIN through the inside out view that only a surgeon can master. Our products were tested in the most demanding situations: after cosmetic surgery, after laser treatment, on scars and burns. Our science laboratory used the most advanced ingredients to maximise results. I am proud to offer my unique insight to my patients and now to everyone who wants to fight ageing.
Dr. Yannis Alexandrides

Dr. Y. Alexandrides is the founder, director and head of practice and surgical at 111 Harley Street since January 2001. He is an American board certified plastic surgeon specialising in cosmetic surgery with emphasis on facial reconstructive surgery; and is also board certified by the European Board of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery; and the Greek Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Alexandrides is also a former Fellow from the Division of Plastic Surgery, University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre. Following training at Albert Einstein Medical Centre, he took residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital (the second largest hospital in the US and a non-profit institution) specialising in plastic and aesthetic surgery whilst at the University of Miami. He gained invaluable experience in craniofacial reconstructive surgery performing complicated operations on patients suffering severe injuries from car crashes and gunshots, as well as those with congenital abnormalities. He then broadened his training in microsurgery at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Alexandrides has published numerous scientific papers in plastic surgery journals and has given talks in the US, including lectures on laser resurfacing. In 1998, he won the First Award in paper presentations at the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons meeting in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Alexandrides participates in international plastic surgery missions abroad.

As a facial specialist and expert in craniofacial surgery, Dr. Alexandrides pioneered the Y Lift – an evolutionary facelift technique. The Y Lift combines a lower face lift and a neck lift, using stitching reminiscent of the letter ‘Y’ below the surface tissue. It works to rejuvenate the face, neck and improve the contouring of the jaw line all at the same time. The results are more natural with shorter recovery time and less visible scarring.
